Douglas Dowdle, DMD

According to the song, nothing can stop the US Air Force.  However,  the author probably never suffered from a painful toothache!  Dr. Douglas Dowdle spent 3 years providing dental care for over 4000 active duty patients at Mountain Home Air Force Base.  Between that and operating his practice in Colorado Springs, Dr. Dowdle has seen and treated just about every dental need!

Dr. Dowdle has continued that tradition of excellence by keeping up to date on the latest dental technology and treatments.  He has taken hundreds of hours in post-graduate and continuing education courses in Dental Implants, Endodontics, Periodontics and General Dentistry.  With dedication like that, it’s no wonder he made Eagle Scout!

But you know what they say about all work and no play! Dr. Dowdle enjoys hiking, shooting hoops, hitting the links, fishing, and camping with his wife and 2 wonderful children.  He’s been known to strum a few chords on the 6-string too!  If you’re a foodie, Dr. Dowdle spent 2 years in Italy and can tell you what REAL Italian food is like!  And, he can speak the language fluently!

Jacob Jarvis, DMD

I am excited every day that I go to work because I always get to meet new people, and not many can say that. I meet young kids and older adults and watch awesome transformations. It is important to me that each patient understands his or her treatment. I treat every patient like my own child or family member.  I have always been interested in helping people live better, healthier lives. Working with motivated people is fun!

I attended Boise State University where I earned my Bachelor of Science degree in Biology. I continued on to the University of Connecticut, graduating with my Doctorate of Dental Medicine before completing my Master of Science degree and orthodontic residency at Marquette University.

I am an active participant in continuing education and enjoy learning about new and progressive technology. I love learning more about Invisalign®, Damon® System, and temporary anchorage devices. All this knowledge directly relates to the quality of care and results my patients can expect to receive.

I have lived my entire life in Boise, except for my time in school. My wife’s name is Colleen. She is an Irish spitfire from Wisconsin. We have three boys, Noah, Liam, and Roan, who are all full of energy! We also have a dog named Otto!

I love to ski, snowboard, cross-country ski, and anything outdoors in the snow. I love to bike with my kids around Payette Lake and the surrounding area. I am very active with my family, coaching in my sons’ youth leagues and sponsoring their activities. I also enjoy date nights with my wife and riding around town on my Harley.
